ABOUT ME

My interest in working in media began when I was seventeen and bought my DVD boxset of HBO’s Deadwood. Like most people, I’d enjoyed watching TV and movies long before but as I grew older, I started to think more about how the art form worked; not just sitting in front of my TV screen being happy, or intrigued or afraid but thinking about HOW something makes us feel these things. How a screenwriter taps into something primal in the human condition. How the cinematographer positions the camera (our eyes) to pull us into the story or even to keep us alluringly out of it. And, of course, how the editor leads us through the narrative, one shot and sound at a time, understanding the pieces and the whole they create together.

Since then, I have maintained an interest in film and television with a Media Production degree, hands-on experience and specific expertise in Premiere Pro. I am highly attentive to the needs of clients and co-workers, taking the extra time to listen to the vision they have in mind and to offer any guidance they need. If you need someone to do more than 'put the pieces together' and to actually help your project take its first steps, then I will be there to make it happen. Everyone has ideas they have yet to fully realise so let me help you realise yours.
